Steph Curry scored 30 points as the Golden State Warriors eased to 142-112 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Ja Morant left the floor in the fourth quarter with a knee injury and is a doubt for Game 4.
The Grizzlies led the way after the opening quarter but then the Warriors went off. Scoring 38, 37 & 41 in the three subsequent periods.
Morant was once again the star for Memphis, his halfcourt heave to beat the halftime buzzer pulled the Grizzlies back to within seven points but the Warriors never cooled off. The home team shooting 63% from the field and 53% from deep.
This outrageous scoring accuracy gave them a 21-point lead going into the fourth quarter, where they only continued their barrage.
Ja left the game with a knee injury midway through the final period, with the game already well out of reach and it is unknown what his status for the remainder of the series will be.
Klay Thompson scored 21 points on 4 of 6 shooting from deep, while Jordan Poole added 27 points off the bench. Morant led the way for Memphis with 34 points, 7 assists and 3 steals, with Desmond Bane adding 16 points.
The Warriors really flexed their muscles in this win and if the Grizzlies are now to be without Ja Morant for at least one game if not the series. This one could be over sooner than expected. Game 4 is on Monday night @3am (GMT +1)
