The Golden State Warriors made it eight wins from eight on their home floor in the 2022 Playoffs thanks to a 126-117 win over the Dallas Mavericks. The game saw a 28-point turnaround with Dallas up by 19 in the 2nd quarter.

The Mavericks got off to a bright start thanks to five quick points from Luka Doncic, the Mavs young star finishing with 18 points in the quarter. However, Golden State had the answer bouncing back from a 16-0 run from Dallas with a 13-0 run of their own.

Despite Luka Doncic being on the bench to begin to the 2, Dallas went aboutbuilding their lead. Jalen Brunson taking over the quarter with 12 points,including a pair of threes to help the Mavericks lead by as many as 19 points.The Warriors rallied late but a Doncic treble to close the half gave the Mavs a72-58 lead.

Dallas setting a franchise record in the first half with 15 made three pointers. Shooting over 55% as a team from deep.

The Mavs dominated every aspect of the first half, but the game was flipped in the second, despite Draymond Green getting into foul trouble. The scoring of Kevon Looney keeping the Warriors in touch, the big man finishing with 11 points in the quarter as Golden State cut the deficit to just two points heading into the fourth, thanks to a Looney dunk at the buzzer.

The Warriors defence held Dallas to just 13 third quarter points, the Mavs shooting just 2 of 13 from three as their lead was all but erased. An Otto Porter treble from the corner to begin the 4 gave Golden State their first lead ofthe game and they would not be behind again, despite 14 fourth quarter pointsfrom Luka.

The three-point shot helped Dallas to build their first half lead and the Warriors came in clutch from deep in the final period to secure victory. GSW shooting a combined 5 of 7 from three in the fourth. A trademark Steph Curry dagger with 1:04 remaining giving Golden State a 122-115 lead.

Curry & Jordan Poole combined for 22 points in the fourth quarter. With GSW ultimately outscoring Dallas 68-45 in the second half, including a 43-point final period.

Curry finished with 32/8/5, with Looney adding 21 points and 12 rebounds. While Poole added 23 points off the bench. Doncic finished with 42/5/8, with Brunson adding 31/7/5 and Reggie Bullock contributing 21 points.
