The Dallas Mavericks made it two wins from two at home to level the series with the Phoenix Suns at 2 a piece with 111-101 win on Sunday. Luka Doncic led the way for Dallas with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals.

The Mavs started hot from three and they rode that wave to jump out to 37-25 lead after one quarter. Doncic and Dorian Finney-Smith each getting 9 points in the opening period. With the team shooting a combined 8 of 13 from three.

This strong start from Dallas allowed them to lead for the next three quarters of play, thanks in no small part to Chris Paul being in foul trouble for most of the game. Scoring just 5 points and fouling out with 8:58 to go in the fourth.

Phoenix threatened to come back early in the fourth as they closed to within six points. However, a Doncic floater followed by a pair of three pointers from Finney-Smith re-established a 14-point advantage for the Mavs.

Dallas shot a combined 20/44 from three but their defence was once again crucial. Forcing 17 turnovers, which led to 23 points.

Dorian Finney-Smith finished with 24 points and 8 rebounds, going 8 of 12 from deep, while Davis Bertans (12), Maxi Kleber (11) and Spencer Dinwiddie (10) combined for 33 points off the Dallas bench. Devin Booker led the way for Phoenix with 35/4/7, Jae Crowder adding 15 points and 6 rebounds.

The series now heads back to Phoenix for Game 5. Which takes place Tuesday @ 3am (GMT +1).
